Germany, Imperial. A Heer Belt Buckle, Reduced Size Auction measuring 742mm (w) x 515mm(Heer Grtelschnalle). Constructed of partially silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, within a ribbed ring bearing a raised inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US) and laurel leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 58 mm (h), some oxidation evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
