Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Prince Adolph, the arms bearing an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE 1914 (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE 1914), unmarked, measuring 36. 36 mm (w) x 40. 55 mm (h), weighing 9. 0 grams, in near mint condition.
