Constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a circular ribbed base, bearing an etched inscription of AVISO GRILLE, topped by a German national eagle perched on a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a screw and washer, unmarked, measuring 72 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), minor loss of finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
