A Wilhelm Cross With Swords consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac marked with an "A" (Vienna)(Wilhelmskreuz mit Schwerter fr Kriegsverdienst). Instituted 13 September 1915 by King Wilhelm II. (1915 1918). Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Wilhelm II, situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, the six oclock arm bearing an institution date of 1915, the twelve oclock arm bearing a raised crown, the reverse
