Finland, Republic. A Reserve Officer Course School Badge Hold 34 mm x 57 mm(Reserviupseerikoulu). Instituted in 1948. Three piece construction, insignia in gilt and silvered bronze, illustrating the Finnish lion backed by the white rose of Finland, mounted to a cross shaped base in silvered bronze with blue enamels, measuring 37 mm (w) x 36. 7 mm (h), maker marked "BARCK HELSINKI" on the screwback, intact enamels, scattered silvering wear evident on both sides, near extremely fine.
