Nimrod MR2 - Sweat Shirt Douglas Bader The Swift first flew 29thHawker Siddeley Nimrod To mark 40 years since the end of hostilities in the Falkland Islands this collection depicts 16 aircraft that took part in Operation Corporate. Many types were involved, from logistical tasks to ground attack. The Nimrod undertook 111 sorties during the campaign that involved maritime patrols, air refuelling coordination and SAR links.
