Germany, Luftwaffe. A General’s Breast Eagle visually-hidden likely a postwar inscription(Luftwaffe Brustadler fr General). Constructed of slate grey wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered gold bullion wire Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, executed in exceptional detail, the reverse retaining a mostly intact black paper backer, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), demonstrating only minor material fatigue, a uniform removed example in extremely fine condition.
