A cross pattee with a Gold frame and silver arms, the obverse with a raised white enameled central medallion with a painted red cross, surrounded by a black raised ring of of enamels, the reverse with a central silver medallion with a sun ray pattern, adorned by a Gold crowned cipher of King Ludwig, surrounded by a blue ring of enamels, dated 1870
