Instituted 10 January 1430 by Philip III of Burgundy. (ca. 1900 issue). An excellent and rare example of an Order of the Golden Fleece uniform badge, constructed of 18 karat Gold with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a finely detailed rams fleece, suspended by its midsection by a ribbed band, with the integral loop connecting to a black and white enameled flint flanked on each side by stylized red enameled
