They are Palomar's American style center focus binocular, marked "Palomar Paris", magnification "8 x 26" serial # "1763". The objective lenses are 35mm in diameter and their optics are good. The frame is a black coated magnesium and the barrels are covered with black pig leather. The metal focus wheel works well as does the individual right scope
