In silver gilt with blue and white enamels, blue enameled cross with obverse gilt centerpiece depicting the profile of Jos Matas Delgado, with five emanating rays in each quadrant, reverse centerpiece reads HONOR A LOS PRCERES DE LAS INDEPENDENCIA SALVADOREA, measuring 41 mm (w) x 65 mm (h including surmounting wreath), marked 905H on the suspension ring, white enamels on arms have been
