Germany, SS. A Model 1936 Chained Service Dagger visually-hidden with period buckle(SS Dienstdolch M36). An extremely well preserved SS Model 1936 Chained Service Dagger, measuring 36. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 22 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and lower edge. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY) in Fraktur script, retaining its full patination to provide a striking contrast to the base
