In bronze, obverse shows a cross with imperial crown, Roman numeral L in centrepiece, anniversary dates 1859 and 1909 on the horizontal ends, two crossed swords with monogram of Alexander II and Nicholas II, 50 mm (h) x 42 mm (w), near mint condition. Footnote: The badge was instituted in 1909 to commemorate fifty years after the Caucasian Wars. The badge was awarded to veterans of wars in the Caucasus.
