A 1938 Flying Award To Feldwebel (Sergeant) At Rotenburg Newly Listed USS Louisville was in overhaulSilvered brass insignia illustrating a single prop plane flying through the clouds, a swastika on its tail, 119 mm in diameter, held in place by a screwpost and nut on the reverse, a brass plaque affixed by two brass pins below the insignia inscribed "Fl. Horst Rotenburg 1938", on a bevelled edged, black painted wooden plaque, a hook on the reverse for wall hanging, 160 mm x 210 mm, extremely fine.
