Constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central raised mobile swastika inside of an oak leaf wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 48. 22 mm (w) x 47. 62 mm (h), weighing 23. 0 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation
