Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, First Pattern Archive Prince Boris (Later King Boris(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39. 02 mm (w) x 44. 40 mm (h), weighing 13. 6 grams, with most of the silver
