Badge: six piece construction, in silver gilt with red, light blue and royal blue enamels, maker marked "F. T. BICHAY" on the reverse cartouche, hallmarked with a series of marks in Arabic on the reverse of the badge, the cartouche and the eagle coat of arms suspension that includes the Cairo Assay Office mark, the date mark and a "9" and "0" for silver fineness (. 900 silver = 90% or 900
