Empery is a blend of two 14 year old rums, one aged for the full 14 years in bourbon barrels, and the other aged for 10 years in bourbon barrels and 4 years in Oloroso Sherry barrels. This is a very fruity Barbados rum with a mild hint of raisins and berries on the nose from the sherry casks. It is a very subtle contribution however, and the natural goodness
