The obverse features the bust of Carlos IV, encompassed by the inscription CAROL IIII D G HISP ET IND R 1791 . The reverse features a crowned coat of arms within the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, encompassed by the inscription IN UTROQ FELIX AUSPICE DEO 4 S M MF. The edge is center slanting reeded to the left. Measuring 28. 95mm in diameter and weighing 13 grams.
