Germany, HJ. A Member’s Knife, Restored and Refurbished Auction Instituted 5 March 1901 by(HJ Fahrtenmesser). An HJ members knife, measuring 25. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 14. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to both the tip and lower edge. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE! (BLOOD AND HONOUR). Otherwise unmarked, the blade sits securely within a nickel plated alloy hilt with a hooked quillon and
