Instituted in 1941. In silver, measuring 35 mm in diameter, bruised, contact marks, on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, near very fine. Accompanied by a Photograph of a Soldier Wearing the Medal (in black and white, with scalloped edges, measuring 60 mm (w) x 85 mm (h), the photo mounted to a 80 mm (w) x 105 mm (h) card, near extremely fine).
