Instituted in 1832. In silver, a large Maltese Cross with faceted finish and ball finials, a cluster of five smooth rays in each quadrant, the central medallion featuring a crowned rampant lion on a black enamelled field, encircled by a red ring inscribed LUNION FAIT LA FORCE, the reverse featuring a vertical pin flanked by dual stays, measures 87. 09mm (w) x 87. 71mm (h), weighs 117. 28 grams, minor
