the obverse bearing an elaborate gold bullion wire Larischstickerei
It demonstrates small contact marks but remains in extremely fine condition
the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”)

Germany, Ordnungspolizei. A Mint Shako Cockade, by Josef Feix & Söhne Newly Listed This is a very well-preserved(Polizei Kokarde fr den Tschako fr Mannschaften). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oblong tri colour shako, the reverse with a backplate fixed in position with four integral clips and with a U shaped lug, maker marked with the logo of Josef Feix & Shne, Gablonz, measuring 35 mm (w) x 62 mm (h) and retaining its original paper packaging, in unissued and mint condition.
