Sweden, Kingdom. An Order of the Sword, Commander Star, by C.F. Carlman, c. 1930 visually-hidden number engraved "74770" on the(Kungliga Svrdsorden). Instituted February 23rd, 1748 by King Frederick I. Constructed of silver, gilded silver, and enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with ball finials, the cross consisting of a scaled surface with an ornate border, along with a circular turquoise enameled medallion bearing three gilded Swedish crowns, along with a vertically oriented sword, the reverse plain, with an intact vertical pinback, marked CFC for manufacture by C. F.
