In browning copper, voided, maker marked "ELLIS BROS TORONTO" on the reverse, measuring 58. 7 mm (w) x 57. 3 mm (h), both lugs intact, surface wear, rim slightly undulated, better than very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Western Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Windsor under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 29, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel W. L.
