In silver and silver gilt, a skeletal oval topped by a crown, the obverse bearing the Royal monogram of King George V, reverse marked SG, as well as lion (London), uncrowned leopard (London 1821 ), and q(1911), suspension marked with lion, original ribbon, 49. 3 mm (h) x 36. 8 mm (w), extremely fine. In a hard shelled case, white satin lined on the inside lid, purple velvet medal bed, marked Royal Mint, extremely fine condition.
