Constructed of a silvered alloy, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a double sided oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top and bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Reicharbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service RAD) insignia in the form of a shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika and flanked by wheat stalks, the
