with red enameled surround with text and wheat stocks

in silvered tombac with red and white enamels

This is an extremely well-preserved Heer (Army) M43 field cap

Accompanied by its miniature stick pin

A Memorial Cross Case, C.1918 Auction Archive 1) The Wehrpaß was issuedHardshelled design on the lid and base, black pebbled exterior on all six sides, the lid domed and bearing the King's crown within an ornate rule in gold coloured ink, inside lid in beige satin, measuring 65 mm (w) x 83 mm (h) x 25. 5 mm (d), hinged along the rear edge, the base incorporating a lightly soiled medal bed in beige felt, near extremely fine.
