Of German manfacture, silvered bronze with red enamels, maker marked "B. B.&Co" (unidentified maker) on the reverse, measuring 57. 3 mm (w) x 55. 2 mm (h), horizontal pinback, chipping evident in the red enamels on the tip of the star point at 12 o'clock, edge nicks, silvering wear on the tughra, better than very fine.
