Romania, Kingdom A Royal Air Force War Observer Badge, C.1944 Archive Parachutes were made of silk(Forele Aeriene Regale ale Romniei). Two piece construction, insignia in bronze with red, white and blue enamels, mounted to a silvered brass wings base, measuring 39. 7 mm (w) x 47. 5 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: These badges were manufactured by the National Mint, the Resch Jewellery Workshop and a number of local or foreign workshops, with three styles of attachments: a horizontal pin
