This is an exceptionally well preserved Technische Nothilfe (Technical Emergency Help) EM NCOs hewer, constructed of a nickel silver plated, scimitar style magnetic metal blade, with unsharpened tip and edges, measuring 250 mm in length. Engraved into the reverse ricasso area is a makers mark of Eickhorn, Solingen, along with the firms logo of a squirrel grasping a sword. Above the logo is a
