Germany, Luftwaffe. A Radio Operator Badge, With Case, By Wilhelm Deumer Auction War and Victory Medals both(Luftwaffe Bordfunkerabzeichen). Instituted 19 January 1935. (1935 1942 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, with a mobile swastika at the bottom, the obverse with a Luftwaffe eagle clutching dual lightning bolts in its talong, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with two visible rivets holding the eagle in place, maker marked W.
